“Before implementing Engage, our recruitment was managed locally by each Branch Manager. This meant that processes were inconsistent and difficult to monitor in terms of time, cost and effectiveness.
Implementing Engage has enabled the Resourcing Team to implement a recruitment process which is centrally controlled and can be rolled out on a phased basis across 1800 branches. This central approach has enabled Resourcing to develop a set of KPIs which did not exist before implementation. The approximate cost per hire of £1.5k compares well with the CIPD average of £5k.
Engage has also enabled us to trial different approaches to online advertising and closely monitor the results identifying the most cost effective routes.
